Although there are many individuals who have received certifications from Soke Hausel & Seiyo No Shorin-Ryu Karate Kobudo Kai, Seiyo No Shorin-Ryu Budo-Bujutsu Kai & Seiyo Kai International (SKI), not all are members of our organization. Only those who have a current membership card from SKI & follow the practices & philosophy of traditional (non-sport) Shorin-Ryu are members. We provide a path for all to follow, some remain on this path, others may not. Seiyo Kai International follows the original path of Okinawan karate – that of non-competitive martial arts used for improvement of Mankind.
